The data in MERLIN Online are for guidance and general planning purposes only. Do not use this system to make final decisions regarding regulated features such as the 100-year floodplain, wetlands and Critical Area.

MERLIN Online includes sources of commercially owned data. The following companies have provided limited use agreements for their products that allow you to view and print the full resolution data.

• CNES/SPOT Image Corporation, Reston, VA., U.S.A. - SPOT 10-meter panchromatic imagery used as a base map for each county.
  
• VARGIS, LLC, Herndon, VA., U.S.A. - EYEMAP - 3.75' Orthophoto maps in natural color located in certain parts of Prince George's, Anne Arundel and Howard Counties.

These data are copyrighted by each respective company and any attempt to copy, register and reuse these images is a violation of their copyright. For information on obtaining these data products, please follow the links to each site from the Map Partners Page.

System Downtime

The MERLIN Online system is not available between 5:05 AM and 5:15 AM Eastern Standard Time (10:05 - 10:15 Greenwich Mean Time). System maintenance and updates are performed during this time.
